PICO RIVERA: Rice-Flour Pupusas and Salvadoran Lunch at Paseo San Miguel

IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY: ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 48-HOUR NOTICE, NO SHOWS, OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD.
SGV Member Stephanie suggested a Salvadoran restaurant in Pico Rivera to try pupusas made from rice flour instead of the usual (and heavy) masa. However, her recommended place received negative reviews on Yelp for service recently, so a nearby restaurant with a 4-star Yelp rating with better reviews caught my eye, and we decided to give this place a try. Let's enjoy some lighter pupusas along with a few entrees.

EVENT DETAILS:
• Please arrive a few minutes early so that we can all be seated at 11:00 am.
• Family-Style Dining: Dining for this event has been designated as Family-Style. The food bill will be split evenly among all attendees. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their own beverages. Please note that flexibility is an important part of family-style dining, and if you want to take a chance on attending, you have to be amenable to what the group/AO will order. You don't have to eat everything that is ordered, but everyone pays equally, whether you eat everything or not. If this definition of Family-Style Dining doesn't feel comfortable, this may not be the right type of event for you. In addition, if you have ANY dietary restrictions or ingredients you do not wish to consume, then you may want to skip this event. Ordering dishes modified to fit someone's dietary needs or personal tastes will alter the true flavors of those dishes for the rest of the group.
• Cost per person is expected to be about $30.00 or more, depending on how much food and beverages you order, plus tax and gratuity.
You will have to option to pay me via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle to minimize the need to exchange cash (Use my email: sktoy67@gmail.com). However, if you cannot pay in any of the -above formats, then please bring at least $60 in CASH (small bills preferred) on hand to settle your portion of the bill.
• Parking is available in it's own lot, as well as street parking. Just be sure to read all signs for any parking restrictions.
