DTLA: $65 DineLA Restaurant Week Menu (4-Course Italian) at Drago Centro

IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY: ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 48-HOUR NOTICE, NO SHOWS, OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD.

10 years ago Celestino Drago and his 3 brothers had an empire of Italian restaurants across LA. Since then, the numbers have dwindled down to the popular Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills, the moderately priced Celestino Drago in Pasadena, and the fine-dining Drago Centro in DTLA. I've always wanted to try Drago Centro, but never found their DineLA Restaurant Week interesting enough to try. Well, this year's DineLA menu sounds good enough to give it a try.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFO:

• We will meet in front of the restaurant shortly before our 5:00 pm reservation. Please don't be late as we need to start ordering shorty after 5:00 pm, and finish before 7:00 pm, when the building will loose power during some building upgrades.

• Dinner here is expected to be around $90 or more depending on how much food we order, any drinks you may order, tax, and at least 20% gratuity). Please bring at least $120 in cash (small denominations preferred) to pay for your share of the meal. However, if necessary, I can accept payments via Zelle (which, unlike Paypal or Venmo, does not charge a service fee).

• Family-Style Dining: While family-style dining is optional, Members are more than welcome to share their plates with other members so that you will have tasted all the offerings this year.

• PARKING INFO: Underground Valet parking is available. I will check with the restaurant about the cost.
