MELROSE DISTRICT: Family-Style Dinner at Zira Uzbek Kitchen (Revisit)

IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY: ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 48-HOUR NOTICE, NO SHOWS, OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD.

For most of my life, I have always had an interest in Uzbekistan and its cuisine. Needless to say, when I first read about this plce

Zira Uzbek Kitchen is the first restaurant in the Los Angeles area that is solely dedicated to Uzbek cuisine. If you have never heard of Uzbek cuisine, just think Uyghur cuisine with some dishes that are Russian influenced.

EVENT INFORMATION:
• Please look for us inside the restaurant shortly before 5:30 pm.

• Cost per person is expected to be about $50.00 or more, plus tax and gratuity, and any beverage(s) or extra food we may order. Please pay by cash, Zelle (sktoy67@gmail.com).

• Family-Style Dining: Dining for this event has been designated as Family-Style. The food bill will be split evenly between all attendees. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their beverages. Please note that flexibility is an important part of family-style dining, and if you want to take a chance on attending, you have to be amenable to what the Organizer will order. You don't have to eat everything that is ordered, but everyone pays equally, whether you eat everything or not. If this definition of Family-Style Dining doesn't feel comfortable, this may not be the right type of event for you. In addition, if you have ANY dietary restrictions or ingredients you do not wish to consume, then you may want to skip this event. Ordering dishes modified to fit someone's dietary needs or personal tastes will alter the true flavors of those dishes for the rest of the group.

• Only street parking is available. Please read all signs for any parking restrictions. You may want to arrive 15 minutes early to look for parking.
