TUSTIN: Dim Sum Brunch at J. Zhou

IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY, ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 48-HOUR NOTICE, NO SHOWS, OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD.

Haven't been back to J Zhou since the pandemic, when it was considered one of the best dim sum houses in the LA/OC area. Since then, there has been many posts that indicated their quality in food and service. Having read their lastest Yelp reviews, it's hard to get an idea if they've improved on both food and service. The only way to find out is to dine there myself. So, who wants to join me?

EVENT DETAILS:
• Please meet by the main entrance shortly before our 11:00 a.m. reservation.

• Cost per person is expected to be about $45.00 or more, plus tax and gratuity. Please bring at least $80 in CASH (small bills preferred) on hand to settle your portion of the bill. I can also accept payments via Venmo (@tripleaxel), or Zelle/Paypal (sktoy67@gmail.com).

• Family-Style Dining: Dining for this event has been designated as Family-Style. The food bill will be split evenly between all attendees. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their beverages. Please note that flexibility is an important part of family-style dining, and if you want to take a chance on attending, you have to be amenable to what the Organizer will order. You don't have to eat everything that is ordered, but everyone pays equally, whether you eat everything or not. If this definition of Family-Style Dining doesn't feel comfortable, this may not be the right type of event for you. In addition, if you have ANY dietary restrictions or ingredients you do not wish to consume, then you may want to skip this event. Ordering dishes modified to fit someone's dietary needs or personal tastes will alter the true flavors of those dishes for the rest of the group.
