SILVER LAKE: Modern Filipino Dinner at Spoon & Pork

Spoon & Pork was recently featured in a local news report on KNBC discussing the difficulty they have been experiencing in staying in business. Since we fell in love with their food during our visit a year and a half ago. After watching the report, I felt it was time to have another meal there and support them.

Spoon & Pork began as a food truck in 2017 serving modern Filipino comfort food. Their popularity soon led them to open up their first brick-and-mortar in SilverLake in 2019. In 2020, they were added to the LA Times 101 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles. Plate Magazine named the duo Chefs to Watch in 2020. In 2021 they were listed on the California Michelin Guide & given the Plate distinction.

EVENT INFORMATION:

• Meet by the entrance to the restaurant shortly before our 5:00 pm reservation. Please don't be late, as they will not seat us until the entire party is present. If there is enough interest that will allow me to book a table of 10 or more, then I will be able to make a reservation.

• Cost per person is expected to be about $50.00 or more, which includes tax, 18% gratuity, and beverages you may order. Please pay by cash, Zelle (sktoy67@gmail.com), or Venmo (@lafoodiepanda).

• Very limited parking in the tiny lot to the west of the restaurant. Street parking is also available. Please read all signs for any parking restrictions.
