We’ll be trying a newcomer to the Sawtelle/West LA neighborhood called Bangkok BBQ Bowl for traditional Thai pastries (Taro Puff and Savory Stuffed Roti with red beef curry), Thai style Khao Mun Gai (steamed chicken over garlic rice) and Mango Sticky Rice (if available) dishes. Estimated cost per person $30-$35. PLEASE BRING CA$H - We will pre-pay in CA$H at the counter before we get our food.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFO:
• We will meet by the main entrance shortly before 11am on Saturday, November 15th. Bangkok BBQ Bowl is in a strip mall on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Sawtelle Blvd.
• Saturday brunch here is expected to be around $30-35 or more depending on how much food we order, tax, 20% tip/gratuity. Please bring AT LEAST $35 in *CASH ONLY* (small denominations preferred) to pay for your share of the meal. You are responsible for payment of any drink(s) you order individually so please factor that into your share of the bill and bring extra CASH.
• Family-Style Dining: Dining for this event has been designated as Family-Style. The food bill will be split evenly among all attendees. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their own beverages. Please note that flexibility is an important part of family-style dining, and if you want to take a chance on attending, you have to be amenable to what the group/AO will order. You don't have to eat everything that is ordered, but everyone pays equally, whether you eat everything or not. Most of the dishes will contain soy sauce and there will be some Thai style curries in the dishes. One or more of the dishes we order might be at least moderately spicy. If this definition of Family-Style Dining doesn't feel comfortable, this may not be the right type of event for you. In addition, if you have ANY dietary restrictions or ingredients you do not wish to consume, then you may want to skip this event. Ordering dishes modified to fit someone's dietary needs or personal tastes will alter the true flavors of those dishes for the rest of the group.
• PARKING INFO: Street. Limited free parking in strip mall shared with a 7-11 store. Parking meters and 2 hour zoned residential parking nearby. Please arrive early in order to give yourself time to find parking.

“IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY: ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 24 HRS OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD. NO-SHOWS WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE GROUP (IF YOU NO SHOW TO YOUR FIRST EVENT WITH THE GROUP, YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE GROUP).”
