WESTMINISTER: Lunar New Year Vietnamese Dinner at Bien Hen Seafood & Lau

IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY, ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 48-HOUR NOTICE, OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE, WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD. NO-SHOWS WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE GROUP (IF YOU NO-SHOW TO YOUR FIRST EVENT WITH THE GROUP, YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE GROUP).

The Vietnamese also celebrate the Lunar New Year with the Tet Festival. It's only fitting to continue our Lunar New Year celebrations with a Vietnamese dinner at Bien Hen, which is like Sau Can Tho (known for its baked catfish) and Oc & Lau (seafood, snails, and hot pot), but more. They have a larger non-seafood and vegetarian menu. So we will enjoy a hot pot, catfish, and more.

EVENT INFORMATION:

• Please arrive a few minutes before our 4:30 pm reservation.

• Family-Style Dining: Dining for this event has been designated as Family-Style. The food bill will be split evenly among all attendees. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their own beverages. Please note that flexibility is an important part of family-style dining, and if you plan to attend, you must be amenable to whatever the group/AO orders. You don't have to eat everything that is ordered, but everyone pays the same amount, whether you eat everything or not. Most of the dishes we order will be at least moderately spicy. If this definition of Family-Style Dining doesn't feel comfortable, this may not be the right type of event for you. In addition, if you have ANY dietary restrictions or ingredients you do not wish to consume, then you may want to skip this event. Ordering dishes modified to fit someone's dietary needs or personal tastes will alter the true flavors of those dishes for the rest of the group.
