ECHO PARK: Dinner at Taix French Restaurant Before They Shutter on March 31st

IMPORTANT NOTE: DUE TO TOO MANY LAST-MINUTE RSVP CANCELLATIONS RECENTLY, ANYONE WHO CANCELS WITH LESS THAN 48-HOUR NOTICE, NO SHOWS, OR ARRIVES MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL BE PLACED ON A 2-MONTH PROBATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS DURING THAT PROBATIONARY PERIOD.

Opened back in 1927 as Les Freres Taix French Restaurant, and now known only as Taix French Restaurant. After the property it sits on was purchased by developers, an announcement was made that this historic restaurant would temporarily close until the old building is torn down in favor of a brand-new multi-purpose apartment complex, which will take place after dinner service on March 31, 2026. So, let's have one final meal there before the beautiful old building is torn down.
