Hinoki & the Bird is Chef Brandon Hida's restaurant, serving Japanese-influenced dishes made with local California ingredients and prepared using French culinary techniques***.***
Tonight, all proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food, a nonprofit that prepares and delivers hot meals to people suffering from terminal illnesses or living with health conditions that prevent them from preparing meals for themselves. IMPORTANT EVENT INFO:
• Please arrive early to find parking. We will meet by the entrance for our 7::30 pm reservation.
• The meal here is expected to be around $80 or more, depending on how much food we order, any drinks you may order, tax, and at least 20% gratuity. Please bring at least $200 in cash (small denominations preferred) to pay for your share of the meal. However, if necessary, I can accept payments via Zelle (which, unlike PayPal or Venmo, does not charge a service fee).
• Family-Style Dining: Dining for this event has been designated as Family-Style. The food bill will be split evenly among all attendees. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their beverages. Please note that flexibility is an important part of family-style dining, and if you want to attend, you have to be amenable to what the group/AO orders. You don't have to eat everything that is ordered, but everyone pays equally, whether you eat everything or not. If this definition of Family-Style Dining doesn't feel comfortable, this may not be the right type of event for you. In addition, if you have ANY dietary restrictions or ingredients you do not wish to consume, then you may want to skip this event. Ordering dishes modified to fit someone's dietary needs or personal tastes will alter the true flavors of those dishes for the rest of the group.
• PARKING INFO: Valet parking is available for a flat rate of $12. There is no street parking available nearby.
