Drum Circle

Bring your Djembe, Conga, Bongo, Cajón, etc!

WHERE: Phoenix Park; Riverfront Terrace and E Madison Street where the Farmer's Market is held. We will find an appropriate spot there, or in the immediate park area.

WHEN: Sunday August 3rd @ 6:45 PM.

While I’m no Djembe expert, I’ve got a solid background on the drum kit. I can provide very basic instruction but this is not a teaching class. All levels are welcome, however, please make sure you can hold a steady beat, count smoothly, and match the rhythm of the group.

We would start the circle with a few deep cleansing breaths, a peaceful demeanor, and a slow- steady pace mostly sticking to 4/4 time, though 6/8 is totally welcome too.
