Fresh Air, Quiet Mind

Alive in the Wild's Fresh Air, Quiet Mind is a series of outdoor adventures in and around Atlanta. On May 16, 2021, Ellen Dean will lead a serene morning hike along Sweetwater Creek's White & Green Loop.

This 2.7 mile trail winds through deep woods, with views of the creek, some ruins, and a waterfall. The trail is mostly easy-to-moderate, with a few steep hills.

We will meet by the visitors center at 9:00am:
1750 Mt. Vernon Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122

To keep our hike as safe as possible, we will be maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet from one another and from other hikers whenever possible and wearing masks when we are within 6 feet of one another and when we pass other groups of hikers on the trail.

If you do not feel well on the day of the hike or have a temperature of 100 degrees F or higher, please stay home and take care of yourself.

What to Bring: Water, sun protection, a small towel, etc. Dogs are most welcome! Park rules require them to be on leashes.
