Marcus Guest (https://twitter.com/narrateinsights) spent a decade as a general manager in service firms in Asia, Russia and the CIS. After receiving his MBA at Warwick Business School (UK) he joined KPMG as a strategy consultant, initially re-orienting the organisations 'go to market' strategy in Russia and the CIS following the 2008-09 crisis.

During this time he became an accredited SenseMaker practitioner and used this approach to deliver KPMG's flagship thought leadership piece for the Russian government 'Taking the Investor Perspective'. This looked at the attractiveness of the investment climate in Russia's regions through the eyes of the foreign investors. This revealed the disconnect between the style and substance of the government's investor strategy.

Recently Marcus ran another flagship SenseMaker project for the International Red Cross in Namibia. This sought to address issues of resilience building across communities that do not attract significant international assistance.

Marcus will discuss learnings and answer questions about these two projects. He will also introduce an approach that will allow you to run a SenseMaker intervention for interested Executives and Line Managers within an hour.
