VanVR at SpaceKraft - November

It was a long wait, but we're finally back with the original VanVR event. Good food, good company, and lots of cool VR stuff to try!

SpaceKraft has kindly offered to host us at their amazing co-working space. It's huge, and awesome. It's a short walk from Patterson or Metrotown skytrain stations.

Michal and Aaron are demoing multiplayer collaborative creation with Michal's VR app Doodle in a shared lighthouse tracked space. This is the system we're using at the Digital Dojo for realtime collaboration in a shared VR space.

Work @ Play is bringing the BuildDirect experience to Hololens. Construct your dream kitchen with inside-out tracked mixed reality. Hololens tracking stability has come a long way since their initial release, so you've got to try it to believe it.

We're coordinating VR and Mixed Reality spotlight videos of each VR creator's work with the help of our sponsors. You'll see the fruit of that work as we make them.

As usual, RSVP mainly covers the cost of food and drinks, everything else is provided by a growing pool of volunteers and sponsors that help with the venue, coordination, spotlight videos and more.
