Open Water Thursday Night Group Swims & BBQ!! Lake Natoma Nimbus Flats !

Swim and BBQ potluck on First Thursday of the month, please bring a dish to share that serves about 6 people,

*** Please Park in second parking lot where the BBQ's are located (see map below) , we will start the swim close to the Dock, the temperature will be slightly warmer at this starting point =)

The group supplies: plates, plastic utensils, napkins, condiments (catsup, mustard, relish), and charcoal/lighter. looking forward to the BBQ, I'm always amazed what yummy food items a potluck generates, and this group does not disappoint! :) mmm mmm!!

We moved to Lake Natoma! Open Water Thursday Group Swims at Lake Natoma Nimbus Flats State Park!! A fun supportive swimming group.

This is a good swim for those getting ready for triathlons and Open Water Swims, also a great time for beginners to try this out. Thank you and hope to see you out there!

Meet: Lake Natoma
Time: 6:30pm, we'll start together when everyone is ready
Skill Level: Able to swim 1/2 mile

Distance: 1 mile (around the Island and Back ) with a 2 mile option (to China Wall and Back)
Needed: Bright colored swim cap, goggles, swimsuit (= ,
Optional Wetsuit: Many swimmers use wetsuit in Lake Natoma. We will try to use the buddy system and match people up of like speed and strength. No lifeguard will be on duty. This meetup is Swim at your own risk.

Open water is great fun ! It is a blast to swim in a group and enjoy the lake !
