Early Spring Blooms at Mitchell Canyon in Mt. Diablo State Park
Details
Join David Margolies to see early spring wildflowers and more along the Mitchell Canyon Road trail in Mount Diablo State Park.
Meeting Location: Start of the Mitchell Canyon Trail (at the south end of Mitchell Canyon Road in Clayton, CA)
Bring $6 cash for parking fee (or display a valid California State Parks pass)
We will hike up the trail looking at early blooms, ferns, shrubs, and trees, and also Asterella liverworts. We’re starting early in the day because the Mitchell Canyon parking lot fills up quickly.
