RedwoodJS w/ Anthony Campolo & Plasmic w/ Yang Zhang
Details
Ah September, a time of change. The leaves and the season is a'changin'. Likewise, Front End web development is changing!
This time at Jamstack Denver we'll be hearing about two new tools that may have slipped under your radar.
First, Anthony Campolo will be giving us his talk "A First Look at RedwoodJS." Anthony will outline the origins and motivations of RedwoodJS along with some of the concepts that it introduces. This talk is super-charged because Anthony will also be building a fully functioning blog with CRUD (that's Create, Read, Update, Delete) features, and all hooked up to a database!
Will it be live coding? Maybe! Maybe not! The only way you'll know is if you come out on Wednesday night. And by "come out" I mean stay at home and watch the stream.
Then, we'll be switching gears a little to hear from Yang Zhang about an amazing new tool called Plasmic! Whether you're a developer who just wants to iterate faster, or you want to invite/empower your design colleagues to help in building the product, this talk will show you how you can introduce a visual UI builder into your (existing) React codebase without sacrificing developer control—like having a "Webflow for the Jamstack."
I've seen the demo video for Plasmic and I actually said "Wow" out loud, it's really amazing to see it in action and you're going to be upset if you miss this talk!
See you on the stream!
