What we’re about

This group is for people interested in reducing their impact on the environment, learning about the natural world and raising awareness about threats to wildlife and habitats, while having fun and meeting like minded folk.
This group is for you if you're:

> • Like or want to learn about growing veggies, sustainable transport, bikes, energy efficiency, social enterprises, the sharing economy, food-swaps, conscious consumption
> • Keen to learn about local biodiversity: plants, trees, birds, mammals and other species
> • Want to get involved in helping protect threatened species and ecosystems

Our group is about people and connections, so please make an effort to contact the host or others who are at events.

We are very keen for YOU to contribute!

> If you have an idea for a Meetup - please suggest it to our organisers and we'll work to help you make it a reality.

Our group depends on active membership

> The group depends on involvement from our members, please don't be shy to get involved or tell us what you want from the group.
> Please complete the profile questions, as this helps us understand your priorities, interests and passions.
>
> It'd be great if you can add a comment or 'review' after you attend one of our events.

Guidelines:
Please do your best to avoid doing a ‘no-show’, that is to book for an event and simply not turn up.
If you're unable to attend an event, please update your event status. We understand that circumstances and availabilities change; but we'd appreciate if you could make every effort to update your booking to ensure event organisers don't wait for non-arrivals.
Note: there's no need to rsvp 'no' to each event; its really only a 'yes' that counts!

Hope you get involved, we look forward to seeing you at one of our Meetups asap!
