"How to Find Greater Happiness and Freedom Through Contentment"

7:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025. This is an online spiritual discussion.

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
We are now studying the Five Virtues in Eckankar (which are the remedies for the Five Passion of the Mind.
Every class begins with a 1 minute singing of the spiritual word HU. After that the class will continue with the definition and 4 quotes about the virtue - contentment. Then we'll spend the rest of the hour discussing 4 questions that were designed for tonights topic. The questions we'll be discussing are:

1. What do you do, or can you do, to rid yourself of desire?
2. How do you personally practice contentment “in whatsoever state” you find yourself?
3. Why do you think the drive for truth doesn’t disappear, even when we feel deeply content?
4. When life is especially difficult, what helps you find “some measure of happiness, contentment, and peace”?

HOW DO I PRE-REGISTER?

1. You are welcome to join like-minded new or old friends in a spiritual discussion.
