Mini Film Festival on Animal Advocacy and Welfare

Come join for a Film Night about animals raised for food that will touch hearts and open minds. The festival is brought to you by VegCurious, a group I co-host. We will begin with 5 short films which won the Tarshis Awards for 2017, played in an 8-minute long sequence:

This will be followed by our feature-length film: Life According to Ohad (1 hr. 20 min.)

Life According to Ohad is a 2014 Israeli biographical documentary about an animal-rights activist named Ohad Cohen. The film highlights Ohad's struggle to reconnect with his family after separating from them for years due to their carnist lifestyle. Eri Daniel Erlich, writer and director, traveled alongside Ohad for three years to capture this documentary in which Ohad undertakes open rescue, chains himself to animal cages in protest, and performs public demonstrations in favor of animal rights.
