EcoHome Lab: Weather normalisation of energy data

Details
***
As a result of the smart meter roll-out most of us now have access to high resolution energy data, but without normalisation this data is of limited use in measuring the impact of specific measures. This is because your home is operating within a complex and changing environment - your energy usage is primarily dependant on outside temperature. Carbon Coop is working with James Fenna a researcher at UCL to explore whether open source methodologies and tools can be used to quantify impact. In this session we'll be exploring some of the issues around data normalisation and exploring free tools for visualisation.
