EcoHome Lab: HEMS 2.0 and plans for 2024

Details
***
Carbon Co-op's Home Energy Management System (HEMS) is a fleet managed Raspberry Pi, controlling high load devices (EV, battery, immersion etc) in response to OpenADR signals from our PowerShaper Flex service. We've now reached the end of REScoop VPP - a 3 year project testing the system in the houses of energy co-operative members in Belgium, Spain, Germany, France and the UK.
With the end of project, we are free to revisit the tech stack and our aspirations for device control to support domestic flexibility. As ever we are keen to hear you ideas!
Catch up on some of our previous sessions and presentations.
This is a CarbonCo-op (http://carbon.coop/) initiative working close together with OpenEnergyMonitor (https://openenergymonitor.org).
