Join us on September 14, 2025 at Arlington Central Library at Homes and Gardens across Arlington for our 22nd Annual Green Community Tour and Celebration! The welcome and celebration event will take place at the Central Library. The green home and garden tour will showcase homes and gardens across Arlington County that highlight sustainable practices.
See sustainable homes and gardens in September bloom, along with rain barrels, rain gardens, solar panels, EV charging and energy efficiency measures. Bring friends, family and neighbors and incorporate these sustainable practices in your home, place of worship or community.

Green Home & Garden Tour:

- Self-guided tour of green homes and gardens across Arlington (6 homes, 1 garden)
- A map of the properties/tour will be sent upon registration

Event partners include EcoAction Arlington, Virginia Cooperative Extension – Master Gardeners, Arlington Regional Master Naturalists, Plant NOVA Natives, Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, Arlington Public Libraries, Arlington County’s Office of Sustainability and Environmental Management.
Lime, the Tour’s generous sponsor, provides eco-friendly transportation options to help participants experience the event. Lime will provide complimentary helmets alongside e-bike and e-scooter rentals for adults ages 18+ at the welcome event.
