## Cancer: Shattering Myths, Empowering Hope – Lifestyle Strategies That Change Everything
recording from the 2025 Food Revolution Summit
We have heard talks on how nutrition affects our health and risk of chronic disease as well as how what we eat affects the planet. Join us to learn about cancer and how what we eat affects our risk of getting cancer. Cancer is the most feared disease and a diagnosis of cancer comes as a shock. One in six deaths worldwide is attributed to cancer. The incidence of cancer is on the rise and is predicted to be 20 million new cases per year by 2030 worldwide.
What can we do to minimize our risk of being diagnosed with cancer?
The 2025 Food Revolution Summit just ended last week and day 5 was focused on “Cancer: Shattering Myths, Empowering Hope – Lifestyle Strategies That Change Everything”. Scientists, doctors and researchers discussed the science of cancer and the role of nutrition and lifestyle on cancer risk. We will be watching a replay of this episode of the Food Revolution Summit and will hear from experts like Alan Desmond, MB; Amber Orman, MD; Daphne Bascom, MD; Dean Ornish, MD; Joel Fuhrman, MD; Kristi Funk, MD; Michael Greger, MD; and others.
This video is longer than our usual and runs almost 90 minutes, so we will be going over the agenda and announcements at 8:15am and starting the video promptly at 8:30am. Please join us for an enlightening story courtesy of the Food Revolution Network.
