Relaxing Evening Umstead Hike

Details
We'll be going for a stroll in Umstead at the Harrison Ave entrance. This will be more of a pleasure hike than a cardio endeavor. Option for some mid-hike barefootin' for those who want to try it.
We'll decide as a group which trail to take. Either way, we'll be sure to stop at the stream/river crossing and take in the sounds for a few minutes.
We'll be there rain or shine, but not lightening and thunder.
No pups! Thank you.
We'll circle near the bathrooms before the hike.
Disclaimer: This hike is really easy for the large majority of adults; however, a few people will find this hike very strenuous and difficult. The common thread is folks who are just starting into or just starting back into moving their bodies from a place of being very out of shape. If you are just recovering from cancer, on the older side and have not been particularly active in recent years, or just generally lived a very sedentary life, then this hike is not yet for you. The hills in Umstead make the trails more difficult than a normal 3 mile hike would be, even at a leisurely pace. I recommend heading out to places like Yates Mill Pond or hiking along the Eno, and then coming here a little later down the road.
