If you are looking for a great way to connect more with both nature and our ancestral roots, Piedmont Earthskills Gathering is the place to do it. The gathering is happening this September 3rd-7th and will feature top class instructors from around the Southeast covering topics ranging from the core three (fire starting, cordage, and flintknapping) to fundamentals like plant medicine, tinctures, hide tanning, earthen pottery making, basket weaving, and more!
PEG is family friendly and great fun for the kids!
The event officially starts Thursday morning and runs through Sunday afternoon, with two classes held each day. Food is also provided and there are dorms for rent for individuals if you don't feel like camping. PEG will take place north of Durham near Bahama, NC in NC State's G.W. Hill Forest.
Full event tickets are $500, but you can also get Weekend Passes for $250 (Friday afternoon through Sunday) and Day Passes for $125. Teenagers are reduced price and kids age 4-12 are half price.
