We're lucky to have him back in his homeland for a very special night of presence and connection. His explosive set will be seamlessly accompanied by Aarif Amod's energetic djembe beats!💥

We'll also be taking some time after the dance to drink, eat and chat together as we take time to connect with one another and savour the community. 🎧 Declan SoL has been deeply immersed in ecstatic dance and contact improvisation at an international level for over a decade, performing at some of world's most epic ecstatic dancefloors, including Boomland's Being Fields and countless festivals around Europe. He is the founder of Ecstatic Dance India Goa & Dharamsala and has been resident DJ at Bali Ecstatic Dance, Ecstatic Dance Koh Phanhan and Ecstatic Dance Aljezur. There's a lot more, but frankly, we don't have the space for it here!

As with all great ecstatic DJs, Declan is a true dancer, with an extensive background performing and teaching dance at international festivals and retreats. Additionally, as a multi-instrumental musician, he combines all these skills to bring you a magical, uplifting and soulful ecstatic dance experience. Declan firmly believes that dance is the most amazing and fun way to bring health and vitality to the physical body.

Expect a diverse spectrum of soundscapes and rhythms, creating an open and safe space for dancers to explore and express themselves through movement…from poetic heart opening melodies to deep shamanic tribal grooves, from old school to cutting edge global bass.

We're thrilled to welcome Declan's deep experience and talent for an epic night of top-tier facilitation, explosive DJ skills and some serious dance moves. A real triple-threat!

🥁 We're delighted to be inviting back our friend Aarif Amod to add some epic percussion to Declan's epic set! Aarif is a Dublin-based artist with deep roots in South Africa and India. He's a well-versed musician playing instruments like the Djembe, Udu Drum and Kalimba.

🍫 For this event, cacao will be available on entry to the space for €2 a cup, served by Olena. We serve cacao in a pragmatic manner in order to accommodate a range of preferences, in support of a diverse dancefloor. You can pay with correct change or via QR code (Revolut). Once served, you can quietly enter the dance space and drink at your own pace.

🍕 Would you like a few slices of pizza and a refreshing drink after the dance when we do our urban picnic? Pay a contribution when you buy your ticket and select your preferences on arrival at the venue (e.g. vegetarian, pepperoni, gluten-free). Of course, you can also bring your own food!
