We're back from the summer break with three exciting presentations. We look forward to seeing you.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr Claudia Kleinman, who heads a bioinformatics laboratory at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research. Dr Kleinman will be presenting her research on gene expression and RNA processing in the human brain.
Geneviève Boucher, bioinformatics analyst at the IRIC bioinformatics core facility, will be presenting her research on machine learning approaches for prognosis in leukemia.
Emmanuel Noutahi, phD candidate in Dr El-Mabrouk's laboratory at the Université de Montréal, will be presenting the ETE toolkit, a Python environment for phylogenetic tree exploration and visualization.
