RACE VIEWING - 8AM SHARP
Meet at the Westin Jersey City to watch the lights go out for the first time in 3 years at the Marina Bay Circuit for Round 17 of the FIA F1 World Championship.
TRANSPORTATION
Easiest way from Manhattan to Jersey City is to take the PATH Train to the Newport PATH Station - make sure you check the weekend route schedule. Once in Newport, the Westin is only a few minutes walk away and we'll be watching the race in the lobby bar/restaurant.
If the viewing destination changes, you will be contacted directly and the details will be changed here. There will be no changes after Friday September 30th at 10am EST.
KARTING
After the race finishes, we will Uber/Lyft to RPM Raceway in Jersey City. While the drivers finish their post-race debriefs and the teams begin packing up their operations to head to Brazil, it is time for us to do our talking on the track and indulge ourselves in as many races as we wish in search of the fastest lap time. With brand new karts and the newly redesigned and resurfaced track, it provides a challenge similar to what the F1 drivers have just endured. Emulating our F1 heroes in Singapore we'll be navigating the slippery, twisting and undulating track, in the hope of snatching an all important extra tenth of a second.
