Base58 Session #5: COTI - Currency of the Internet comes to Berlin

On 13 September, 2018, Advanced Blockchain AG will be welcoming COTI, Currency of the Internet, to the crypto-capital of Berlin.
COTI is the world’s first blockchain platform optimized for decentralized payments and stable coins, designed for use by merchants, payment networks and stable coin issuers. COTI uses a DAG (directed acyclic graph) ledger to address the shortcomings of blockchain platforms that make them unsuitable for supporting mainstream and everyday transactions.
Advanced Blockchain AG recently partnered with COTI and is pleased to invite the COTI team to present their project during the event. COTI will also be launching their Trustchain protocol (AlphaNet) in an exciting debut to the Berlin crowd at Advanced Blockchain AG's new events space, Base 58 . During the meetup COTI will announce major news so don't miss out.

Here's what you can expect for the night:
18:30- 19:00: Pre-event networking
19:00-19:15: Introduction by Advanced Blockchain AG
19:15-19:45: Presentation by Shahaf Bar-Geffen, COTI CEO
Shahaf Bar-Geffen, a serial entrepreneur, will be discussing everything related to COTI's DAG-based infrastructure, the world's first platform optimized for creating stable coins and digital payment networks.
As it stands today, most blockchain platforms are optimized for dApps and not for payments. They also do not provide the stability required for everyday use. Current blockchain infrastructures possess numerous unsolved challenges related to identity, trust, stability, scalability and high transaction costs, among many others, driving down the adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies for mainstream use.
To address these shortcomings, COTI is providing an end-to-end solution designed for use by enterprises, governments, merchants, developers, decentralized payment networks and stable coins.
19:45-20:05: Presentation by Dr. Nir Haloani, COTI's CTO
Dr. Nir Haloani, former head of research at IBM and owner of 14 patents, will be discussing key innovations concerning COTI's AlphaNet launch. This includes anything from COTI's PoT algorithm and network architecture all the way through to the Trust Score consensus and Arbitration System.
20:05- 20:30: Q&A session
20:30- 22:30: Afterparty & networking
