Let’s get outside, connect, and enjoy some sunshine together! This will be a relaxed 3-hour meetup to hang out with fellow bisexual folks in a beautiful nature setting — open, welcoming, and totally chill.
📍 Location: Hyland Lake Park Reserve
🗓 Date & Time: Saturday June 21st @ 2pm-5pm
⏳ Duration: 3 hours
💰 Cost: Free to hike / $12–14 per hour for optional lake rentals
What to Expect:
🌲 Hiking Crew:
Join us for a scenic, easy-going hike around the lake and through forested trails. It’s a great chance to stretch your legs and enjoy some fun conversations — no cost, no pressure, just community and nature.
🚣 Lake Lovers:
Want to be on the water? Hyland offers kayak, canoe, paddle boat, and other watercraft rentals at around $12–14 per hour. Rent solo or pair up with someone new — either way, it’s a blast.
🥤 Things to Bring:
Water, sunscreen, maybe a light snack, and any personal items you need for comfort. Wear shoes you’re comfy walking in. If you plan to go out on the water, dress accordingly.
✨ Vibe:
Chill, low-key, and welcoming. Whether you’re new to the community or just want to meet some new people outdoors, this is a safe space to be yourself and enjoy Minnesota’s gorgeous parkland.
Directions & Meetup Spot
Follow GPS to: 10145 Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington, MN 55438
Once you enter the park, continue down the main road and take the first right into the roundabout parking lot. We’ll be meeting near the large “Island View” sign. Check the event photo for a visual of the exact location—it’s a cozy spot with tables and a lake overlook. We’ll gather there, get everyone settled, and decide who’s up for hiking, paddling, or just hanging out and enjoying the day!
