The British Play is a physical comedy/farce, written by John Cleese and Connie Booth. You may remember it from British telly. John Cleese played Basil Fawlty, the idiot inn-keeper, and Connie Booth played Polly, the very practical chamber-maid/waitress. There are a host of other wonderful character parts too, such as Sybil, the stiff upper lip British wife of Fawtly, and Manuel, the immigrant waiter and houseboy, Fawty's well-meaning, but badly used scapegoat. So, if you enjoy British Comedy - this is one of the best!

This play is part of the North Shore Zone Festival of Plays which tells you that it has already made it to a certain level of success on the stage! It will be competing for the spot as the best play on the North Shore.
So, if you want to join us here's the drill...
Tickets will sell out quickly over the next couple of weeks, so don't wait until the last minute. There is only one show! Wednesday, May 04th is the only chance to see this play.
Anyway, back to the tickets... Paul and I have already bought our online, so we are going for sure!
To buy your ticket, you need to phone-in, or order on-line, on your own, and then let me know you are coming, and we'll meet you in the Lobby, and hope to be able to sit together in the Theatre. Seating is first come first serve (the view from all seats is good), so what we do is get there early, go in when the doors open, put our coats on our selected seats, and then head back out to the Lobby for our drinks!
