Meetup and learn about Splunk & UCS Management + HyperFlex

Details

We have a great Meetup planned.

Cisco’s Scott Hanson (aka @CiscoServerGeek (https://twitter.com/CiscoServerGeek)) will be covering the updated UCS Manager 3.1(2). We’ve updated the HTML 5 UI and will provide a live demo. There are also chassis / storage profiles for the S3260. Lastly, we will cover the HyperFlex updates included in the 1.8 release.

Next, we will have Cisco’s partner of the year Splunk present on their Cisco and Cisco UCS integrations.

The Splunk App for Cisco UCS (http://www.splunk.com/view/splunk-for-cisco-ucs/SP-CAAAHBM) combines the power and flexibility of Splunk with a tailored experience for Cisco UCS technologies. Splunk for Cisco UCS helps you:

• Gain real time and historical visibility centrally across your entire UCS deployment

• Correlate UCS performance, fault and events data with user, application, hypervisor data to analyze, prevent and fix problems

• Proactively monitor your Cisco UCS environment by providing analytics such as available capacity, trending of faults over time, tracking of power & cooling costs

Presenting for Splunk will be Scott Henry (https://www.linkedin.com/in/scotthenry): Scott is a Senior Sales Engineer for Splunk working with Enterprise customers in the TOLA region. With 20 plus years of technical expertise, he has helped customers both big and small gain insight and marketable value through Splunk’s disruptive platform for machine data.

We’ll be posting a fuller description soon of the Splunk agenda soon.

And don't forget, lunch will be provided and we will have a Roku Streaming Stick as a door prize.
