## 🚀 What You'll Build & Take Home
Spend two days building 16+ real-world embedded projects. Source code is provided on GitHub — yours to extend after the workshop. Key projects include:
- Blink & GPIO Control: Your first ESP-IDF project, from scratch.
- Sensor Data Logger: Read temperature, humidity, and accelerometer data via I2C/SPI.
- Multi-Task System: Build a concurrent system with FreeRTOS tasks, queues, and semaphores.
- Keyword Spotter: Real-time audio keyword detection with TFLite Micro (under 50ms latency).
- Person Detector: Live camera frames processed by MobileNet on-chip.
- Cloud IoT Dashboard: Publish inference results over TLS-secured MQTT to AWS IoT Core.

## 📅 2-Day Schedule Breakdown
### Day 1: ESP32 & IDF Foundations (Saturday, April 18)
- Toolchain Setup & Docker Dev Environment: Pull our pre-built image and flash your first project.
- Build, Flash & Debug: Understand CMakeLists, partition tables, and GDB over JTAG.
- Peripherals (GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI): Interface sensors and actuators at the register level.
- FreeRTOS: Master tasks, queues, and semaphores to prevent deadlocks.
- Power-Aware Programming: Light/deep sleep techniques.
- Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, UDP, and connecting to WiFi.
### Day 2: AI on the Edge (Sunday, April 19)
- HTTP & REST APIs: Working with JSON data and IoT standards.
- TinyML Basics: Quantization & INT8 Inference on 8MB PSRAM.
- Deploy TFLite Micro: Convert TF models and write C++ inference loops.
- Audio Keyword Spotting: Full I2S mic → MFCC → TFLite → GPIO pipeline.
- Camera + Person Detection: Stream OV2640 frames into MobileNet on-chip.
- MQTT + AWS IoT Core: Secure edge-to-cloud telemetry loops.

## 👨🏫 Meet Your Instructor
Rajath Kumar K S
Embedded, IoT & AI Practitioner
Rajath designs and builds production-grade systems across Embedded, IoT, and AI. He founded Analog Data to share practical, real-world knowledge with developers who want to build, not just learn theory. He has trained engineers at ISRO, Broadridge, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and more.
