What we’re about
Come and join us at Edge Progressive Paddling.
We are a community based Kayak and Canoe Club based at Kew Bridge. We welcome people of all skill levels, we cater for people who are totally new to the activity, right through to experienced paddlers.
We hold sessions at Kew Bridge every Wednesday 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, from April to September. We organize Beginner friendly taster sessions which we promote through this Meetup website.
We supply all the kit you need as well as coaches to help you along (just bring outdoor clothing for the weather, shoes you don't mind getting wet and a bit muddy).

Club Paddle with Edge this Wednesday
Ready for a midweek escape? Join our kayaking crew this Wednesday for the club usual paddle - Edge Progressive Paddling](https://edgepaddling.com/). Meet 18:15 at the Kew Bridge arches (Brentford side - see map). We will paddle towards Isleworth, stop at a local pub and return with the tide to Kew Bridge for around 20:45. We usually head to the pub afterwards!
Boat, paddle & buoyancy aid will be provided. Dress for the weather: man-made fibres that don't hold water, an extra layer for the pub stop, waterproof if it looks like rain; for your feet closed toe shoes that you don't mind getting muddy e.g. old trainers, wetsuit boots or water shoes. You will get a bit wet and so bring a change of clothing and shoes for afterwards. Changing facilities are available at the arches - arrive a little early please if you need to change beforehand.
Cost £20. The cost of the taster session can be discounted from annual membership if you join the club.
All participants must be able to swim. Please complete the participant registration form at https://forms.gle/KiPedxE66anWwXoy5 when you sign up.
