Paddle & Pint on the Thames
Details
Kayak Paddle on the Thames, open to paddlers of all standards. Meet 18:15 prompt at the Kew Bridge arches (Brentford side), on the water by 18:30, we will paddle for about an hour towards Richmond, stop at a pub for a break, then return to Kew for around 21:00.
Boat, paddle & buoyancy aid will be provided, dress prepared to get wet just in case, ideally wear man-made fibres that don't hold water (not denim), wetsuit boots or old trainers you don’t mind getting wet. All participants should be able to swim to bank with a buoyancy aid on in the event of a rare capsize. Changing and showering facilities are available.
Total cost £30 = £20 NON REFUNDABLE PayPal deposit at time of booking and please pay the £10 balance in cash on the day
Nearest train is Kew Bridge. Nearest tube is Gunnersbury; bicycles can be left in the boat arches, on road car parking on an availability basis but is very limited. Please allow for heavy traffic we have to leave on time & cannot wait due to tides
