Kayaking on the Grand Union Canal

Kayak paddle on the Grand Union canal from Brentford Lock suitable for beginners. Meet at 18:30 aiming to be on the water for 18:45, back & finished by 20:30.

Cost £25 non-refundable at time of booking: a link will be provided for payment when you sign up for the event on our facebook page. If you join the club afterwards we will discount the cost of the taster session from your fees.

The session will cover a journey along the canal with coaching as we go along. Boat, paddle and life jacket will be provided. Please arrive dressed to go - ideally man-made fibres that don't hold water (not denim) and wetsuit boots or old trainers you don’t mind getting wet. You are very unlikely to capsize but your clothes will get damp and you may need to walk in some ankle-deep water so a change of clothing and shoes is recommended.

Participants acknowledge and accept there is a risk involved with this activity by signing up for this event. All participants must be able to swim.
