I am very excited to invite you to join me in person on Saturday, December 21, 2025, from 9 am till 3 pm (EST), for a one-day Winter Solstice retreat with a Shamanic Fire Ritual outside to honor the longest night and the rebirth of the Sun, exactly at 10:03 am EST here in New Jersey.
This year, the Solstice coincide closely with the new moon in Sagittarius, creating a rare alignment of darkness and new beginnings. Intention setting is very potent this time.
The Winter Solstice is the ultimate turning point of the year. It is a moment to transcend darkness, release old cycles, and step fully into the returning light. It is the perfect time to prepare for the New Year, clearing the old and inviting what you wish to cultivate in the coming cycle.
We will gather outdoors by the sacred fire to offer to the Ancestors, Helping Spirits, and Mother Fire. We will engage in varied shamanic practices, like rattling, drumming, movement, breath, song, journeying. We will release what no longer serves and call in guidance, clarity and joy. We will step into the power of this turning moment, using the darkness to set intentions and prepare for the new year.
This Shamanic Fire Ritual/Winter Solstice Day Retreat is for anyone drawn to be more conscious, more aligned with the nature cycles and seeking self-transformation. Whether you are a shamanic practitioner or simply feel the call of this turning, you will leave refreshed, aligned, inspired and transformed.
Potluck encouraged: please bring a dish to share for a celebratory lunch.
