Antoine is a rising young painter who loses his inspiration after his wife’s death. Desperate to contact her, he turns to a medium—but unknowingly ends up speaking to Suzanne, a struggling carnival worker who has slipped into the séance to steal food.
With the help of Antoine’s gallery owner, Suzanne becomes a fake medium.
As Antoine finds his inspiration again, Suzanne finds herself falling for the man she’s deceiving.
