📜 Welcome to the Inaugural Silver Falls All Trails Challenge!

Get ready to lace up your boots for a brand new eight-hike adventure through one of Oregon’s most breathtaking gems, Silver Falls State Park. Nestled just 20 miles ESE from Salem, this ultra-lush 9,000+ acre paradise is the largest state park in Oregon, and it’s packed with over 24 miles of scenic trails, rich forest canopies, and a waterfall for nearly every mile!

💪🏽These are NOT beginner friendly, as we will be keeping a pace of an average of 2.7mph or greater throughout, could be slightly faster/slower depending on groups’ abilities/trail conditions. These hikes are between 9-13mi in length. I try to go as fast as the slowest person will allow me. This can be difficult for some that have sedentary lifestyles, so please don’t be discouraged if at first you don’t succeed, just try try try again.

🚗🚙 Since this is not in town, I will be setting up carpooling. Meet in the large parking lot outside of Starbucks at the Oregon City Shooping Center off of 99E (SE McLoughlin Blvd).
It is approximately 80mi total driving, please pay $8 to your drivers for gas. Whomever pays for parking is exempt from the gas fee.
For those who want to carpool, just know that you should be prepared to drive, especially if you are running late.
If you are driving directly to the Trailhead, please come early enough to find a spot and be at the meetup location on time.

🧭 Directions: Pull into the North Falls Trailhead parking area on your right (when coming from the North) to pay the $10 day-use fee if you don't have a State Parks Pass.
Leave the parking area and continue driving another 3.8 miles through the park.
As you come to the top of a forested rise, a sign indicates an equestrian area on your right down Lookout Mountain Road (not labeled).
Turn left here and in 0.1 miles turn right into the large gravel parking area. There is no fee station here, which is why you need to get the permit before arrival.

NOTE: There is poor cellular service here so I will not be reachable for directions or to inform me of tardiness. We will begin on time.
