Forest Park Beginner Friendly Fridays All Trails Challenge: Hike #17

TOTAL MILES: ~ 5.3 miles
ELEVATION GAIN: ~ 1200 ft
PACE: 1.7 to 2.5 avg mph*
DIFFICULTY RATING: Mostly moderate but strenuous on the uphill climbs ESTIMATED TIME: 4 hrs

PARKING: The Linnton Restoration Site is a small park at the end of NW 107th. There is parking along 107th past the Decoy Restaurant.

This is hike #16 in a series of 20 hikes that cover the entire 80 miles of trail in Forest Park. Because not all of the trails can be done as an independent loop it will require hiking more than 115 miles to complete the entire challenge. If you miss a hike, don't worry. We will continue to cycle through the entire set of hikes and makeup hikes are available upon request.

This is a beginner friendly hike so nobody will be left behind! My pace is slow but steady. For some it is too slow, but I do try to push myself as best I can. These won't be easy hikes.

My hikes are cannabis friendly. Wrong turns are part of the adventure.

Dogs are welcome.
