Tam McArthur Rim to No Name Lake - Central Oregon

I am planning a trip to Bend and will incorporate this hike into the mini adventure. Only responsible, reliable, and advanced hikers please. You MUST be in a great shape to attend.

LENGTH: 12 Miles round trip
ELEVATION CHANGE: 2500 ft / Highest Point 8300'
RATING: Challenging due to distance
PERMIT: NW Forest Pass Required
PACE: 2- 2.5mph (Moderate)
$$$ FOR DRIVERS: Total distance 300 miles, so $30 to drivers please

CARPOOL & MEETING SPOT: Jon and Janelle will drive.
Meet our drivers at Wilsonville Transit Center at 9699 SW Barber St, Wilsonville. Saturday at 6:30am.
I will meet you all @ 76 Gas Station 591 US-20, Sisters, OR 97759 at 10am. Please be on time. Please also remember $30 for our drivers per person as the total drive is 300 miles.
After the hike, Janelle will stay in Sisters and I will take her riders back to Portland.

PLEASE BRING:

• plenty of water -- 3 liters minimum depending on temperatures
• lots of nutrition (lunch, snacks, etc.)
• appropriate hiking shoes/attire + trekking poles
• sunscreen
• bug spray

Our hike leaders are volunteers and are not professionally trained wilderness guides. YOU are responsible for your own safety and comfort both during the event and transportation to and from the event.
