Bring your food (from home OR go across the street and picl something up at the Portland Food Hall/anywhere) and your thoughts, we’ll share both!
This gathering is free and open to all.
We may meet more than once a month, depends on a fee things - join us on the 23rd to help broaden your understanding and your palate.

This is a series of community gatherings we’re calling Food for Thought Circles (a place to feed your body and your mind).
Whether it’s a dream you had, a book you’re reading, a project you’re passionate about, or a question that won’t leave you alone, bring 1–3 “thoughts” you’ve been chewing on, and come ready to listen, share, and reflect in a banquet of conversations.
Together, we’ll create a menu of insight, connection, and conversation for all to feast.

🌀 How it works:
• Arrive with your food and thoughts and settle in at Treebeerds.
• Write 1–3 ideas/thoughts onto cards as ootential prompts for discussion (we’ll provide materials)
• Add your ideas and any snack (optional) to the shared circle (center of table)
• We’ll pull a few thought cards as prompts for the day’s deeper conversation
• The group reflects together: Why does this matter to you, to society, to the Earth? We will explore potential connections between various subjects and focuses.
• We close with shared dessert and each person’s takeaway (“What are you putting in your metaphorical ((and literal)) doggie bag?”)

This is a space for connection, not debate.
For enrichment, not lecturing.
Come curious open-minded and thoughtfully hungry.
Leave full-filled.
Be as you are.

🧺 What to Bring:
• Your own food/snacks/drinks
• Optional dessert to share (something small size/portions)
• A thought, idea, dream, or passion you want to explore with others
• A willingness to listen and be listened to

🪞Themes we might explore:
• What’s eating you?
• What’s feeding you?
• What’s on your plate (mentally, emotionally, or literally)?
• How are our ideas part of the extended web of life?
• No topics are off limits.
