🥾Forest Park🌲All Trails Challenge - 2026🐇

📜 If Hike #09 was a Holy O.&.B.Oppotomus, todays will be the unholy version. Hehe, a short hiking group parade down Hwy 30 will bring us Linnton Parking Trail. Once we meet UP with NW Firelane 10, we will take it O&B to NW Germantown Rd. and then back up to Leyser Trail, (which will also be an O&B). Once we’be reached the Wildwood we will head North and take all the little connecters O&B until we meet back up with NW Newton Rd directly. From there we will head South Easterly until we meet up with Cannon Trail which turns into Firelane 9 once we cross Germantown Rd. back down to the starting point.

This is hike #11 in a series of 13 hikes that cover the entire 80+ miles of trails in Forest Park. Because not all of the trails can be done as independent loops (and we will be doubling over our path at times) it will require hiking more than 120 miles to complete the entire challenge. If you miss a hike, no worries, we have this series twice a year and makeup hikes can be arranged.

💪🏽 This is NOT a beginner friendly hike, as we will be keeping a decent pace of an average of 2.7mph (or greater!) throughout, could be slightly faster/slower depending on groups’ abilities. I try to go as fast as the slowest person will allow me. These are not good hikes to learn what your pace is.
This can be difficult for some that have sedentary lifestyles, so please don’t be discouraged if at first you don’t succeed, just try try try again.

🚗🚙 Since this is in town, I will not be carpooling myself, but if you wish to do so please organize that on your own in the Event Comments section.
For those who want to carpool, just know that you should be prepared to drive or take public transit.

🅿️ There are no fees at this location, though space is limited. The address given is for location purposes only. Park adjacently alongside the fence across the road from the Harmer Steel Co. building. We will be forming up at the Linnton Restoration Site at the end of that road.

We usually park down the street near a business called, “Decoy” and walk down to the TH together. Please arrive early enough to account for finding a spot.
I also feel like it is safer (away from easy access and near business) than parking at the little half circle parking space at the Trailhead. There is also more room if people park considerately.
