🏖Afterwork walk to Portobello Beach 🏖

Make the most of the last light evenings by joining me for an after work walk from outside the Scottish Parliament to Portobello beach!

We'll gather outside the Scottish Parliament building at 5.45pm, leaving promptly at 5.50pm.

We'll first go over the Crags with great views over the city, then through the old village of Duddingston and Friggate Park, before finishing with a stroll along the seafront at Portobello, which looks lovely lit up in the evening. It's about 9km with 110m ascent and should take about 2.5 hours.

After we finish around 8.20pm, there'll be an option to go for a drink or there's plenty of buses back from Portobello Road. The 26 and 19 go through central Edinburgh, or the 21 and 49 go towards Leith.

The nights are starting to get colder, so be sure to bring some warm layers and any drinks and snacks to keep you going.
