Hermitage of Braid/Blackford Hill

Join us as we explore this wonderful nature reserve and popular Edinburgh summit, topped by the Royal Observatory. From the summit spectacular views of the city are on offer.

The route for this meetup will follow that set out by walkhighlands (https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/lothian/blackford-hill.shtml) and should take approximately 1.5 hours.

If arriving by car free parking is available nearby.

If arriving via public transport (encouraged, much less stress!), Lothian services 5, 11, 15 and 16 all stop nearby at South Morningside Primary School. From here it is a short walk to the meet point. Singles tickets are £2.20.
