Jupiter Artland visit

Details
Jupiter Artland is one of Scotland’s most significant arts organisations, located just outside Edinburgh. Set over 100 acres of woodland and meadows within the grounds of Bonnington House, a 17th Century Jacobean Manor, it is home to an expansive collection of site-specific artworks from some of the world’s most well-known artists including Antony Gormley, Charles Jencks, Cornelia Parker, Phyllida Barlow, Tracy Emin, Marc Quinn and many more.
Visitors are encouraged to explore at their own pace and discover the artworks freely. In addition to its permanent outdoor collection, Jupiter Artland also presents a rolling programme of exhibitions in its internal gallery spaces. Currently showing is Warm Inside, an evocative installation of twelve hanging sculptures by Jonathan Baldock, life-sized cocoons made of hand-spun wool, plant-dyed fibres and intricately woven baskets, that enclose and protect bodies on the brink of metamorphosis.
N.B. This is a ticketed event. Please book your ticket online yourself before you come. Tickets cost £11.80 with concessions for students and over 65s.
N.B. To cover the increased Meetup site fees we are now charging £2 per person at each event. You can pay by cash or card on the day.
