A change of pace and terrain for a typical Alison ride.
Join Alison on a predominantly (not 100%) tarmaced, relaxed paced ride of a little over 20 miles to a secret , open to public ( no entrance fee) garden next to an animal farm. Mostly cycle paths and quiet residential streets - not flat. NO gravel or mountain bike required for this ride.
Garden has toilets however, cafe not due to be open until summer - so please bring your own FOOD and DRINK.
For elevation think route 61 towards Roslin as an example. One short section (about half a mile) of main road at 40 mph limit - which we will negotiate safely as a group.
This event is as much about the destination as the ride - so we will spend some time exploring the gardens and hopefully watching/enjoying the animals in the field next door.
Please ensure your bike is in good working order and that you carry a spare tube compatible with your bike and any tools required to remove wheel plus a lock.
