Edinburgh Data Science + AI November Meetup
Create Future, 10 Waterloo Place, Level 1, EH1 3EG, Edinburgh, GBEdinburgh's community meetup for people working in - or just interested in - Data Science and AI. We're a friendly bunch of professionals, academics, students and others who enjoy meeting over drinks and pizza and listening to insightful talks.
We will once again be generously hosted by CreateFuture at the Old Stamp Office (next to Waverley Station) from 6pm on Thursday 27th November. Create Future will also be sponsoring pizza and drinks for the event.

Speaker Bios:
Joan Figuerola Hurtado
Joan co-founded SpecifiedBy, where he led engineering for 12 years, making building construction information more accessible and discoverable. He now works at Wordsmith as a Member of Technical Staff, focusing on generative AI.Thomas Aston
Thomas is a final-year PhD researcher in engineering at the University of Edinburgh, where his work focuses on using video and sensor data to inform models of the biomechanical response of the brain to head impacts in sport. Outside of my research, I run a newsletter exploring the lighter side of sports data, diving into whether any meaningful insight can be extracted from the most seemingly useless stats (which is exactly what my talk will focus on).Meetup Group Sponsors
