From 1963 to 1989, the first seven Doctors went on a series of travels across time and space, facing foes and enemies both familiar and unknown to modern audiences.

When the Fourth Doctor receives a message to bring his companion (fellow Time Lady Romana) back to Gallifrey, their return home undergoes an unexpected diversion when they pass through a Charged Vaccum Emboitementinto the other dimension of E-Space. Assisting the Alzarians in departing from the planet they have been trapped on decades ("Full Circle"), the Time Lords and their new companion must then face an ancient enemy of their race ("State of Decay"), culminating in a search for a way home that will leave the fate of another ancient race in the balance and change the TARDIS crew for good ("Warrior's Gate").
