Family board games meet up is for family to play board games together. recommended age 7 plus. Board games can bring parents and children closer and less screen time.
Games are:-
Carcassonne, 7 wonders, Sky Team, Chess, Chinese chess.
We hope to meet like-minded parents and children who would like to play different board games. We will play Carcassonne age 7 plus and 7 wonders age 10 plus. We will source more games as the group grows. Members can nominate the next game and vote for the new game. The member dues go into a pot and eventually we can explore the world of board games. The aim is to inspire the children to create their own boardgames through playing and discussing different elements of the game.
I learnt to play Carcassonne in Nepal 15 years ago. And now my son likes to play. So I hope when he grows up and has to spend a day acclimatising at 3000m altitude, he can play and make friends with people from all over the world. We also believe that board games can cross languages and cultures. We look forward to seeing you at the meetup.
The member dues will be placed into a pot to get more board games with educational value and topics. We will combine learning and playing and schedule into fun, bring a sketch pad.
